The first week has past, and the honeymoon is definitely not over. My day on my own was fun, trying to duplicate Nutrisystem Tuna Salad. I was happy with the results. As I look in the mirror my face is noticeably thinner (I always lose it there first) and my stomach is flatter. Most importantly I feel like I have more energy and I've only been marginally hungry a couple of times. The good news is I lost 4 lbs. Which
brings me to the subject of the scale.
Sometimes I feel like our lives are so controlled by numbers. You should weigh this much, you shouldn't wear this anymore you are over 40, and the OMG it's your 50th birthday number. Don't you hate those birthdays with zeros lol. At the end of the day, I don't think the numbers are as important as what you are feeling and seeing. I really don't care what the scale says but I do care if I dropped a pant size, and if I'm feeling younger and better. Since the answer is yes to all the above I would say this week was a successful one for me. If the scale isn't saying what you would like it to say, don't freak out. Look for other signs of success. If you have been on plan they should be there. If not this week then next.
I'm looking forward to my cooking day on Saturday. This week I'm doing pizza. Stay tuned!
